There is some noticeable progress with the new National Stadium which will be the main venue when Tokyo hosts the summer games in 2020.
The structure of the seating bowl can be clearly seen while cranes continue to operate around the clock to get the place ready in time for the Olympics.
You can get a close up view of the works from the Tokyo Gymnasium, which is adjacent to the construction site. The Gym is located just outside of the JR Sendagaya Station or the Kokuritsu Kyogijo Station of the Toei Oedo Line.
